BIOGRAPHY

Matthew Bejtlich (b. 1991) is a composer, pianist, ecologist, photographer, and educator. Through an intuitive approach rooted in place, he is interested in creating stories that inspire attention, connection, and play. He believes that each of us are storytellers and have a unique voice to express. In doing this, he seeks to weave relationships and activate potentials between humans, more-than human life, and landscapes to create more caring and inclusive futures. Matt was mentored in sound design and music production by Bradley Zero, founder of London-based Rhythm Section International and DJ at NTS Radio. He is an adjunct professor at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and Northeastern University where he teaches in regenerative design, data science, and storytelling. He is currently working on his solo debut music album 'Beyond the Blueness' to be released in fall 2024 on his label, 'Unfolding Aliveness.' He will be releasing a new song every month as part of the album during 2024.
